Job summary

NEXTDC is seeking a Project Director to lead data centre development projects from initiation through handover, coordinating design, engineering, authorities, contractors and vendors to meet strategic objectives.

You will steer culture and safety leadership, programme planning, cost control and quality assurance across multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to NEXTDC’s high standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership to drive multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of NSW data centre development and authority approvals.
• Experience managing complex data centre construction projects and safety standards.
• Ability to delegate, foster collaboration and maintain workforce engagement.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
• Ability to interpret budgets, schedules and cost forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to project teams through all project cycles.
• Collaborate with design, planning authorities, contractors and vendors.
• Plan, direct and manage data centre development to meet objectives.
• Oversee culture, safety leadership, cost & commercial management, quality control.
