Job summary

RSGx in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Data Lead to consolidate and migrate the Power BI estate to a shared medallion data architecture. You will design Bronze-Silver-Gold data layers on Azure SQL, build ingestion pipelines, and implement GenBI semantic models with Fabric.

You’ll partner with the Data, Systems and Reporting Manager and implement governance, access controls, and robust documentation while guiding data and reporting developers across the group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data architecture and BI consolidation projects.
• Strong SQL, Azure data services, and Fabric proficiency.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data models and governance.

Responsibilities

• Review and migrate Power BI reports, models, and dataflows.
• Design Bronze-Silver-Gold data layers in Azure SQL.
• Build and oversee data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Deliver GenBI architecture with Fabric semantic models.
• Implement access controls, deployment practices, and documentation.
