Job summary

Cotality is seeking a Principal Software Architect to drive data architecture and platform strategy across global engineering teams. You will shape scalable data solutions, guide data models, pipelines, and services, and ensure alignment with the organisation's data strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in software development with 3–4 years in data architecture/ principal engineering roles.
• Experience designing modern data architectures across cloud-native, distributed, event-driven environments.
• Strong data modelling, pipelines, and large-scale data platform design.
• Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
