Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable business insights. You will design, develop and deliver advanced reporting, dashboards, predictive analytics and data models that support strategic and operational decisions.

You will partner with stakeholders across the business, gather requirements, ensure data quality and governance, and drive analytical capability through Power BI and related tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis, data preparation and data wrangling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Experience cleansing, transforming, joining and validating data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful insights.
• Experience developing reporting and visualisation solutions, with exposure to Power BI.
• Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query M, ERD concepts and dimensional modelling.
• Experience supporting data quality, governance, reconciliation or financial analysis activities.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable business insights. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will lead the design, development and delivery of advanced reporting, dashboards, predictive analytics and data models that support strategic and operational decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong data professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving complex business problems and influencing outcomes through data.

You will be responsible for:

You are an experienced, data analytics professional with strong technical capabilities and a passion for delivering meaningful business outcomes. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and can translate complex data requirements into practical reporting and analytical solutions.

To be successful, you will bring:
