Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a scientifically qualified technical leader to provide oversight across two hazardous waste operations sites in Narangba and surrounding areas. You will spend time in active operating areas, directly guiding chemists, supervisors and frontline teams to ensure safe, compliant and commercially sound decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Applied Science or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Experience applying chemistry within an industrial, environmental, hazardous materials or operational setting.
• Strong understanding of sampling, laboratory analysis and QA/QC principles.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and convert it into operational decisions.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or providing technical leadership to others.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance, waste treatment, chemical compatibility or related processing activities.

The Opportunity

Provide technical leadership across two hazardous waste operations sites, helping translate complex chemistry into safe, compliant and commercially sound decisions.

This is a visible, field-based leadership role across our Potassium Street and Krypton Street facilities. You will spend time in active operating areas, working directly with chemists, supervisors and frontline teams.

About You
