Job summary

Barton Mills Recruitment is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead the Data & AI desk within Sydney's technology practice. You’ll manage established accounts with major financial services clients and develop new opportunities across perm and contract.

You’ll join a well-supported team with strong leadership, flexible hybrid work (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH), 25 days annual leave, parental leave, personal days, BI dashboards, and access to multiple AI tech stacks to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting within Data, AI or closely aligned technology markets.
• Strong understanding of the Sydney recruitment market.
• 360 recruitment background with candidate and client focus.
• Experience with mid-to-large enterprise clients.
• Commercial mindset with focus on growing accounts.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established Data & AI recruitment desk.
• Work across a number of established financial services clients.
• Develop existing relationships and identify new opportunities within those accounts.
• Build strong candidate networks across Data, AI and associated technology markets.
• Manage the full 360 recruitment process from business development through to placement.
• Work closely with the Technology leadership team and other specialist consultants.
• Identify opportunities to increase account penetration and develop new areas of business.
