Job summary

BoomData in Sydney is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant – Data & AI to drive day-to-day delivery of data and AI platform engagements, from POCs through implementation. You will own the technical direction, contribute to architecture, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will lead delivery teams, mentor others, and collaborate with senior clients across NSW and Victoria. The role rewards strong consulting credentials, deep technical depth, and a curious approach to applying AI in client

Qualifications

10+ years hands-on experience across data engineering, data warehousing and modern cloud data platforms.
Deep data warehousing and data management expertise gained from real builds, not only architecture.
Experience contributing to architecture, design and delivering outcomes on client engagements.
Comfortable running POCs and shaping technical discussions with clients.
Strong consulting or professional services background is essential.

Responsibilities

Drive day-to-day delivery of data & AI platform engagements from POCs through implementation.
Lead technical delivery teams, onshore and offshore, ensuring on-time and budget-friendly results.
Bring technical input into architecture and design discussions and translate business needs into technical directions.
Maintain strong client relationships and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
