Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Dams Engineers at all levels to deliver a pipeline of dam safety projects across Australia, partnering with Sunwater to manage the ALARP program for 20 dams and ensure safe water supply.

You will work across geographies, collaborating with water authorities, government, and mining clients, and mentor junior engineers while supporting design and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in hydraulic structures design and dam safety management.
• Inspections and risk assessment experience in dam projects.
• Ability to manage client relationships positively.
• Mentoring and training engineers to develop the team.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements, carry out inspections, and advance projects through planning, design and construction.
• Support waterway engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
