Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to own critical platforms within CDOC, drive security improvements, and shape defense against today's threats. This 12-month fixed-term contract focuses on safeguarding client systems while leading by example across security operations.

You will work with SIEM/XDR tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to contain and mitigate breaches, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a technical cybersecurity focused role; cyber operations experience preferred.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage workload.
• Strong understanding of attacker TTPs and modern security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Configure hardware and software to maintain secure, reliable environments.
• Manage user accounts and access controls.
• Oversee backup and recovery tasks.
• Implement security controls per policy.
• Monitor threat intel feeds to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Research threat actors and TTPs.
• Lead incident response with cross-functional teams.
