Job summary

NSW Department of Customer Service in Bathurst seeks a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to coordinate penetration testing services and support the cyber defence program.

The role works within the Cyber Technical Centre Team, with hybrid working and a 50% office presence. You will advise stakeholders on vulnerability and risk management, escalate issues when needed, and help maintain resilience of government ICT systems for NSW communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in Cyber Security or an adjacent field.
• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain Baseline security clearance.
• Willingness to undergo criminal history and probity checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cyber security engagements, including penetration testing services for external entities.
• Assist the wider Cyber Technical Centre Team in a variety of cyber security tasks.
• Act as an escalation point for cyber security issues when required.
