Job summary

Saab Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security team in Adelaide. You will provide trusted security advice, oversee architecture, and lead risk assessments across Defence, government and critical infrastructure environments.

You will influence security engagements from concept to accreditation, define secure designs, and collaborate with customers and partners to deliver mission-critical systems while upholding ISM/PSPF/ISO27001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security engagements from concept through accreditation.
• Proven track record in defence or government security environments.
• Deep knowledge of ISM, PSPF and ISO 27001.
• Experience developing accreditation artefacts and supporting assessments.
• Cloud security architecture across AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Leading cyber security consulting and advisory services across Defence and government projects.
• Defining security requirements, architectures and secure designs for complex ICT/OT environments.
• Conducting security risk assessments, gap analyses and maturity reviews.
• Developing ISMS aligned with ISO 27001 and industry best practice.
• Authoring documentation for accreditation and ATO.
• Providing architecture and design guidance across cloud environments.
• Supporting GRC activities aligned with ISM/PSPF/Defence frameworks.
• Engaging with customers, partners and stakeholders to drive security outcomes.
