Saab Australia is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security team in Adelaide, delivering trusted security advice and engineering expertise across Defence, government and critical infrastructure environments.

You will lead security engagements from concept to accreditation, define security requirements, conduct risk assessments, and advise on ISMS implementation and cloud security across AWS and Azure, while engaging with customers and stakeholders to strengthen security

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across the full cyber security engineering lifecycle.
• Experience delivering cyber security solutions in Defence/government environments.
• Deep knowledge of ISM, PSPF and ISO 27001.
• Experience developing accreditation artefacts and assessment activities.
• Cloud security architecture and assurance across AWS/Azure.
• Strong skills in risk assessments, audits and assurance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead cyber security consulting, engineering and advisory services across Defence and government projects.
• Define security requirements and secure designs for complex ICT/OT environments.
• Conduct security risk assessments, gap analyses and maturity reviews.
• Develop and implement ISMS aligned with ISO 27001 and best practices.
• Prepare accreditation artefacts and support Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Provide guidance on cloud security architectures in AWS/Azure.
• Support GRC activities aligned with ISM/PSPF/Defence frameworks.
• Engage with customers and prepare proposals and tender responses.
• Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
