We have an opportunity for a Senio r Cyber Security Engineerto be part of our Cyber Security Engineering, Cyber Security, Technology & Communication Services Command. TheSenior Cyber Security Engineeris responsible for leading the development and implementation of secure technology solutions that protect critical law enforcement systems, sensitive data, and operational integrity. This role embeds security into digital infrastructure and aligns cyber capabilities with policing priorities, which enables NSWPF to confidently adopt new technologies, maintain public trust, and ensure the secure and effective delivery of policing services to the community.

Strategic & Hands-On Balance – This position will involve technical and strategic—not just operational, and involvement in architectural decisions, influencing secure design across platforms.
Exposure to Advanced Technologies - opportunities to work with cloud-native environments, Zero Trust architectures, DevSecOps pipelines, and AI-driven threat detection.
End-to-End Security Ownership - Full life cycle security—from secure onboarding of devices to decommissioning.
