Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Manager, Cyber Assurance, Risk, Regulatory & Compliance based in Sydney to lead the development and delivery of the Group's cyber risk management and control assurance strategy across Qantas Airways, Qantas Loyalty and Jetstar. The role partners with senior stakeholders to strengthen governance, policies and reporting capabilities.

You will oversee risk assessments, audits and remediation actions, contribute to policy development, and operate within the Three Lines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cyber risk, governance and reporting.
• Relevant degree is desirable (e.g. information security, information protection, computer science, law).
• Relevant industry certification is desirable (CISA, CISSP).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI).
• Strong reporting, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of the Group Cyber Governance Framework with data-driven reporting for senior execs and the Board.
• Oversee effectiveness of measures across the control environment (systems, suppliers, data, people).
• Plan and manage internal/external cyber risk assessments and audits; communicate findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to risk profiling, controls assurance, remediation and issue escalation to senior management.
• Contribute to development/implementation of Group Cyber Policy and standards.
• Operate in a Line 2 capacity under the Three Lines Model with internal/external stakeholders.
• Contribute to building a high-performing team across the Group Cyber program.
• Support activities to meet compliance requirements including SOCI and PCI.
