Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking an experienced Offensive Cyber Security Manager to lead the program across the Group. You will own, drive and deliver offensive security initiatives including penetration testing and red teaming, reporting to senior security leaders and coordinating with staff and executives.

The role offers a hybrid work model based at our Sydney or Melbourne office, with opportunities to grow in a strong cyber safety culture and to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in offensive cyber security with practical field experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in cyber/information security or related field.
• At least one relevant industry certification (OSCP/GPEN/GXPN).
• Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Analytical thinking with ability to identify gaps and propose mitigations.
• Proactive issue resolution and leadership in teams.
• Ability to work under high pressure and ethical, collaborative mindset.
• Working knowledge of offensive security, OWASP, vulnerability & log analysis.
• Experience with red teaming, penetration testing, and security assessments.
