Job summary

The Reserve Bank of Australia seeks a Senior Cyber GRC Analyst to join the Cyber Risk & Compliance team on a 2-year fixed-term contract in Sydney. You will collaborate across Lines 1 and 2, drive cyber risk reporting, and support audits under CPS 234, ISO 27001 and related standards.

You will help mature risk frameworks, lead control testing with automated assurance, and contribute to resilience initiatives within a central banking environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a dedicated cybersecurity role focused on risk and compliance.
• Experience in cyber control testing and automated assurance techniques.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and 3LoA model.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across Lines 1 and 2.
• Familiarity with cyber control frameworks and risk reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to strengthen cyber risk management per 3LoA.
• Identify and anticipate cyber risk and compliance challenges.
• Conduct third-party cyber risk assessments and provide assurance.
• Maintain cyber risk library and map to Top 37, E8, NIST CSF.
• Coordinate cyber audits and support internal/external audits.
• Support business continuity planning and cyber resilience reviews.
• Develop automated approaches to cyber control assurance.
