Job summary

Moira Shire Council in Victoria is seeking an experienced Senior Customer Experience Officer to join our Customer Experience Team. You will deliver first-class service at the Service Counter, manage inquiries by phone and email, and support the development of knowledge resources used across the council.

The role requires high level customer service, cash handling, solid communication, and strong time management.

Qualifications

• High level customer service skills and experience
• Cash handling experience including receipting and reconciliations
• Strong oral and written communication
• Ability to use initiative and sound judgement
• Proven time-management skills to plan and prioritise work

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of a strong culture of quality service delivered by all staff
• Maintain a team roster to ensure adequate coverage for Customer Experience Team
• Resolve issues promptly and provide timely information to customers
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members and support KPI reporting
• Assist in preparation and distribution of regular statistics and reporting
