Citi in Sydney is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Officer to join the Independent Risk Management team supporting Citi Commercial Bank (CCB). You will hold individual credit authority and play a decisive role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the lending portfolio while enabling new business growth.

In this high-visibility role, you will assess complex proposals, perform cash flow analysis, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to balance risk with opportunity

Competenze

• 12+ years in corporate banking or credit risk with formal credit training.
• Experience as credit officer with delegated authority on complex transactions.
• Strong cash flow analysis and financial statement interpretation.
• Expert knowledge of credit principles and loan structuring.
• Effective communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Independent worker in a fast-paced global environment.

Mansioni

• Serve as final credit approver for Citi Commercial Bank proposals.
• Assess complex credit proposals including cash flow and risk factors.
• Perform historical and forward-looking financial analysis for repayment capacity.
• Monitor portfolio for early signs of credit deterioration and design mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with Citi risk policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Underwriters on credit structuring.
