Job summary

Rabobank Australia is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for Major Agribusiness Clients. You will partner with MAC team members to assess financial information and prepare credit submissions, advising on loan structures and joint recommendations for approval.

The role focuses on credit quality analysis and rating of counterparties, with responsibilities including annual reviews, covenant tracking, and maintaining strong client relationships through collaboration with Relationship Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a banking environment with exposure to Corporate/ Institutional and/or Large Rural clients either as a credit analyst, credit approval or in another relevant capacity.

Responsibilities

• Completion of annual credit reviews in a timely manner (overdue reviews maintained within risk tolerance levels).
• Work with the Relationship Manager and Relationship Analyst to ensure covenants/special conditions are actioned in a timely manner.
• Establish strong working relationships with all stakeholders including attending client meetings where appropriate. In conjunction with the relationship managers identify customer opportunities (including target names).
• Participate in projects and/or assist the MAC Management in project and strategic initiatives.

About the role:

In this role you will partner with the relevant Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC) team member and/or Relationship Manager to undertake the assessment of financial information and completion of the credit submissions used for MAC clients. This includes not only assessing a customer’s credit profile but also providing support regarding the choice of the most appropriate loan structure and providing a joint recommendation for approval.

You will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of credit quality and rating of the counterparty as evidenced by financial analysis and individual research.

Other duties may include:
