Job summary

You will collaborate with engineering and product design teams to identify cost-reduction opportunities while sustaining quality. The role focuses on updating BOMs, keeping supplier market data current, and benchmarking manufacturing options across global locations to meet project timelines and cost targets;

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Cost accounting.
• Experience applying DFMA practices in engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of costing and BOM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyse parts and assemblies to determine product costs during design stages.
• Maintain cost models, databases and BOMs for assigned product categories.
• Update commodity prices, currencies and labour costs in costing models.
