Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to lead cost planning, reporting and cost control across major infrastructure and real estate projects.

Join a global consultancy delivering outcomes for clients across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources. You will work through pre-contract to post-contract phases, using CostX and Hive to benchmark, estimate and report. Brisbane-based role with a collaborative, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post graduate experience.
• RICS member or on the pathway to membership.
• Experience in CostX preferred.
• Experience across the life cycle of projects including pre-contract, procurement and post-contract activities.

Responsibilities

• Measurement of all elements for preparation of cost plan
• Pricing of individual items within a cost plan from first principals including market engagement where required
• Preparation of cost reports
• Assessment of tender returns and preparation of tender recommendation report
• Assessment of contractor variations
• Assessment of contractor payment claims and preparation of a payment recommendation to the Superintendent
• Compilation of benchmarking and market intelligence data
• Utilisation of our digital offering, the Hive, for implementation of all deliverables
