Job summary

The Cimic Group is seeking a Senior Cost Controller to support the Sydney Metro North West project in Castle Hill, NSW. You will maintain project cost accounting, track actuals, commitments and forecast costs to complete, ensuring numbers align with budgets and management reports.

Reporting to the Senior Cost Controller, you will prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and assist with tax provisions related to project costs, while managing WIP and cash flow to satisfy stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Finance/commerce or business degree required.
• Solid cost control experience in major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and work in a team.
• Customer-focused, accountable and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual revenue and cost budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual project cash flows.
• Review project reviews to ensure actual costs and forecast results align with procedures.
• Assist in corporate tax return provisions related to project costs.
• Monitor WIP monthly to improve cash flow; support cost control.
