Job summary

A W Edwards is seeking a Cost Controller to support major Sydney area construction projects on a permanent, full-time basis. The role emphasizes cost control, forecasting, and risk management within a leading Tier 2/1 contractor environment.

You will work with project teams to ensure robust financial performance, compliance, and value delivery while contributing to ongoing process improvements and cost controls across projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ cost-control experience in construction.
• Degree in Accounting or Commerce.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate operational risks and optimise opportunities on projects.
• Oversee performance of project financial functions and reporting.
• Provide cost-control expertise through accurate forecasting, risk control and financial operations.
• Offer pragmatic, risk-conscious advice to project teams.
