Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking proactive Managers of Security to lead security operations across a range of correctional centres and operational locations throughout metropolitan and regional NSW. You will provide high-level operational leadership for management in correctional centres and coordinate security and inmate-related services.

Qualifications

• Experience demonstrating the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description.
• Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
• Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of Responsibility Policy and Procedures (CESU roles only).
• Be available on call at set times to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational leadership and direction for management in correctional centres across NSW.
• Coordinate the purposeful day, effective provision of security, and inmate-related services.
• Lead and direct special projects or specialised services within Corrective Services NSW.
