NSW Department of Communities and Justice – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a proactive Manager of Security to lead security operations across correctional centres and locations throughout metropolitan and regional NSW. This role delivers high level operational leadership, coordinating security, inmate services and staff discipline to ensure safe, secure environments.

You will require proven leadership, integrity and the ability to build high‑performing teams while delivering operational excellence

Qualificações

• Experience leading security operations in correctional settings.
• Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW.
• Familiarity with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Chain of Responsibility (CESU roles only).

• Location: Statewide Talent Pool creation to fill future ongoing and temporary roles statewide
• Salary: $201,606.00 pa + Incidental Allowance + Leave Loading + Superannuation

We are seeking proactive and dedicated Managers of Security to lead security operations across a range of correctional centres and operational locations throughout metropolitan and regional NSW.

Your Role:

The Manager of Security provides high level operational leadership and direction for management in small, medium and large correctional centres, this includes the coordination of the purposeful day, effective provision of security, inmate related services and ensuring the maintenance of staff discipline. Manager of Security roles also lead and direct special projects or specialised services within Corrective Services NSW.

You will bring proven leadership experience, a commitment to safety and security, and the ability to build high-performing teams while delivering operational excellence across a diverse correctional setting.

• Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description
• Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
• Comply with National Heavy Vehicle Law and Regulations and Chain of responsibility Policy and Procedures (CESU roles only)
