Corrections Victoria Community Corrections – Melbourne VIC is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to manage a caseload of complex, high-risk individuals within the court case management stream. The role focuses on risk assessments, case planning, and interventions to reduce reoffending.

Based in Dandenong, with potential additional positions within the region, you will support individuals to meet court order obligations while balancing community safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with risk and needs assessments in a human services context.
• Ability to implement theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximise individual outcomes.
• Experience leading staff responsible for operational service delivery.
• Pays attention to words, expression and body language; promotes a culture of inclusion.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of predominantly complex and high-risk individuals.
• Motivate and influence staff in best case management practice.
• Produce written reports with appropriate analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Apply sound judgement in the identification and assessment of individual risk.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cross-government and community-based stakeholders.
