Job summary

Geely Auto Australia is seeking a Senior Corporate PR, Partnerships and Event Manager to transform corporate PR, CSR, partnerships and events into storytelling that elevates the Geely brand in Australia.

You will lead earned media, thought leadership and strategic partnerships, working with the Marketing Director and senior leadership to build reputation, visibility and cultural relevance while coordinating with product PR for a single media voice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism.
• 10+ years in PR, corporate communications, partnerships, events or integrated marketing.
• Strong experience managing national PR programs and major events.
• Demonstrated experience developing strategic brand partnerships.
• Experience working with senior executives and high-profile stakeholders.
• Strong media relationships across multiple sectors.
• Experience managing external agencies and significant budgets.
• Strong project management and commercial skills.
• Automotive experience highly regarded, but not essential.
• Confident working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands‑on, solutions‑first attitude.
• Highly collaborative and adaptable – comfortable across agency and internal teams, different cultures and time zones.
• Some travel may be required to visit dealerships, agencies and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Geely Auto Australia’s annual corporate communications and PR strategy in alignment with the overall business and brand strategy.
• Build Geely's corporate reputation across automotive, business, technology, lifestyle and mainstream media.
• Develop compelling stories that extend beyond traditional product communications.
• Coordinate with Brand, Social, Digital and Content teams to amplify PR across channels.
• Position Geely executives as credible spokespeople and thought leaders.
• Create corporate announcements, media releases, speeches, and briefings.
• Develop proactive media opportunities across the media landscape.
• Leverage Relationships with Australian journalists and influencers to raise Geely’s corporate profile.
• Support crisis communications when required.
• Assist CEO and leadership with external profile and messaging.
