Job summary

Sharp & Carter Finance & Accounting Perth is seeking a Senior Corporate Analyst to drive commercial insights and support strategic decisions across national business units. You will partner with operational teams, build financial models, and lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll influence pricing, performance reporting and month-end processes, while working in a hybrid setup and contributing to a growing finance function.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in Commercial Senior Finance Analyst role.
• Strong analytical skills and Power BI proficiency.
• Experience building and maintaining financial models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
• Building and creating financial models for cashflow analysis.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate and business partner with operational teams to drive profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyse business performance to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
• Support month-end reporting and ensure accuracy in financial data.
• Provide insights into market trends and their potential financial impact.
• Collaborate across other business units
• Work closely with Head of Strategy, Treasury, FP&A and the CFO.

• Proven experience, building and maintaining financial models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to stakeholders.
