Job summary

Tekk Group WA Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Lead/Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead and deliver complex control projects. You will own technical leadership across PLC, SCADA and DCS solutions, with responsibility for design, testing and commissioning.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management and mentoring capability, with a focus on delivering safe, reliable automation across industrial sites. Melbourne-based, full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Significant experience in control systems engineering in an industrial environment.
Strong experience with PLC, SCADA and/or DCS systems.
Experience in control system design, programming, testing and commissioning.
Experience on industrial automation projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver control systems engineering projects from concept to commissioning.
Develop and review control system architectures and engineering documents.
Program and configure PLC, SCADA and DCS systems; perform testing and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and optimise control systems and provide technical guidance.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians; collaborate with other disciplines.
Engage with clients and support project delivery across FAT/SAT activities.
