Job summary

Mipac is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to deliver complex control systems projects across Australia and internationally. You will design, configure and deliver PLC, SCADA and DCS systems, take ownership of key components, and contribute across the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning.

This hands-on role involves site work, FATs, and close collaboration with clients and vendors, with opportunities to develop leadership capabilities within a high-expertise team.

Qualifications

• Delivered industrial control systems across design, configuration and commissioning phases.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and deliver PLC/SCADA/DCS systems for greenfields and brownfield projects.
• Own key project components and delivery outcomes.
• Participate in FATs, commissioning and site delivery, including on-site work when required.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors and internal teams for practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Apply engineering judgement to resolve technical challenges in a structured way.
• Build relationships with clients through reliable technical delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers with practical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure activities align with technical standards and delivery approaches.
