Job summary

Embedded Expertise in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join an advanced operations team working on critical water infrastructure. This long-term contract role focuses on automation, SCADA, OT and solving operational problems across networks.

You will design and implement control systems, develop standards and visualisations, identify opportunities to improve SCADA/OT and control logic, and support IIoT use cases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Control Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience in control systems and process engineering.
• Proven experience providing technical engineering support.
• Experience automating operational processes through OT systems.
• SCADA, PLC and/or IIoT experience.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join an advanced operations team working across critical water infrastructure.

This is a long-term contract opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer who enjoys automation, SCADA, OT and solving operational problems. You'll work alongside engineers, analysts and data scientists to develop smarter ways of planning, monitoring and controlling network operations.

The Position:

You'll be responsible for designing and implementing control system and automation solutions that help manage operational risk and improve performance across:

• Integrated Activity Planning
• Surveillance and Prevention
• Recovery
• Monitoring and Control

Your focus will be on finding opportunities to automate processes, improve existing systems and make better use of SCADA and OT technology.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and implement control system and automation solutions
