Job summary

Hatch is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our project delivery team in Brisbane. You will manage construction and service contracts across EPCM and Alliance projects, providing commercial guidance from award through close-out.

You will work closely with project managers, procurement specialists and clients, ensuring contractual compliance while mitigating risks. The role offers exposure to diverse, high‑profile infrastructure and energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting major capital projects in EPCM, engineering consultancy, construction or Alliance environments.
• Solid understanding of contract administration principles and procurement processes.
• Ability to manage variations, claims, and negotiations with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer construction and service contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
• Manage contract variations, change orders and contractual claims, assessing commercial, cost and schedule impacts.
• Monitor project progress and facilitate contractor and stakeholder meetings as required.
• Oversee payment certification processes, contract reporting and cash flow forecasting.
• Administer claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
• Prepare, review and implement contractual documents, notices and change management documentation.
• Maintain accurate contract registers and project records in accordance with project requirements.
• Manage bonds, guarantees, insurances and other contractual securities.
• Provide commercial advice and support to project teams while identifying and mitigating contractual risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, clients and internal stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
