Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Contracts and Procurement Manager to lead the contracts administration and procurement function for the Alkimos Seawater Alliance in Western Australia. The role mentors the contracts and procurement team and works with project management to shape commercial strategy on a landmark water infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Law, Quantity Survey or related field.
• Proven experience leading contracts and procurement teams.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
• Experience on major infrastructure or alliance projects.
• Sound commercial and risk management acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the contracts and procurement team
• Manage contract administration and procurement processes
• Identify, log and mitigate contract and supply chain risks
• Drive monthly cost management, reporting and forecasting
• Oversee supplier, subcontractor and consultant agreements
• Support resolution of commercial disputes and claims
• Champion safety, compliance and process improvement

Skills

Proven experience leading contracts

Strong knowledge of contract law

Education
