Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead commercial administration for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project in South East Queensland. You will oversee procurement, negotiate subcontracts and manage claims across a multi-partner alliance.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will drive risk assessment, change control, and commercial reporting, partnering with design, delivery and finance teams to keep the program on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract administration on major projects.
• Experience managing claims, variations, and subcontractor issues.
• Strong understanding of alliance or joint venture models.
• Excellent negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Tertiary qualification in construction, law or quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration for assigned works packages and subcontracts.
• Manage claims, variations and change control across the alliance.
• Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risk throughout delivery.
• Support procurement strategy and subcontractor engagement across the project.
• Review contract compliance and advise leadership on commercial exposure.
• Partner with design, delivery and finance teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare commercial reporting and forecasts for project governance.
