Job summary

iCOST is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager/Commercial Manager to lead contract administration for major projects across the eastern seaboard and WA.

You will bring 12+ years in senior contracts roles, with at least 5 in Australia, and demonstrate advanced leadership while managing head contracts over $250m.

Proficiency in ProcurePro, Excel, Bluebeam Revu, CHEOPS/Jobpac and related tools is essential, with strong procurement and variation management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years experience in senior contracts roles, with at least 5 years in Australia.
• Experience in senior commercial roles within building/commercial/industrial sectors is essential.
• Demonstrated advanced leadership qualities and contract administration capabilities.
• Experience managing head contracts with values exceeding $250m is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in ProcurePro, MS Office (Excel) and Bluebeam Revu; CHEOPS/Jobpac knowledge is essential.
• Ability to read, interpret and manage contractual provisions and variations.

Responsibilities

• Advanced contract administration and contract management responsibilities.
• Negotiate variations with clients/principal and with subcontractors.
• Procurement of trade packages and development of project-specific scopes of work; manage tender processes.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and perform cost valuations where needed.
• Assist with monthly valuations and cost reporting; manage subcontract packages and payment processes.
• Monitor design changes, assess cost impacts and manage variations and final accounts.
