Job summary

BMD Group in Melbourne's Hawthorn head office seeks a Senior Contracts Advisor to join the commercial team supporting projects across Victoria. You will provide commercial and contractual support to delivery teams and help manage risk and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

The role involves subcontract management, variations, claims and contract administration, reviewing terms, and supporting tender phases with the Pre-Contracts and Bid Teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Contracts Advisor, Contract Administrator, Senior Contract Administrator or similar role.
• Construction, engineering or infrastructure project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration principles.
• Experience with claims, variations and subcontract management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Advisor to join our commercial team based in Hawthorn head office, supporting projects across Victoria and providing commercial expertise to the broader VIC/SA/TAS business.

This is a diverse role offering exposure to major infrastructure, water, transport and renewable energy projects to manage risk and maximise commercial outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, while also partnering with our Pre-Contracts and Bid Teams to help secure future work.
