Job summary

BMD Group in Australia seeks a Senior Contracts Administrator to drive the commercial success of major infrastructure projects. You will own the full contract lifecycle, protect BMD’s position, and guide procurement, forecasts and risk management within a Tier 1/Tier 2 setting.

Based in Perth, you’ll collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to deliver on complex, fast-paced programs while maintaining rigorous contractual compliance and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Contracts Administrator role on Tier 1 or major Tier 2 projects.
• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (road, rail, water, energy).
• Knowledge of Australian Standard contracts (AS2124, AS4000, GC21).
• Strong procurement, cost control, forecasting and contract risk capabilities.
• Experience managing claims and variations in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage head contract and subcontract lifecycle from procurement through close-out.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations and award strategies.
• Ensure accurate cost forecasting, reporting and commercial risk management.
• Drive administration of claims, variations, EOTs and dispute resolution.
• Maintain compliance with contractual, legal and statutory obligations.
• Provide commercial advice to Project Managers and leadership teams.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
