Job summary

CPB Contractors, in joint venture with UGL, is delivering a multi‑megawatt data centre project in Truganina, Melbourne. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Contracts Administrator to support contract administration from award through to completion.

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Administrator, you will manage contracts, variations, notices, extensions of time, and claims; maintain records; and collaborate with project, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliance and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contracts Administrator within construction, infrastructure, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of contract administration principles and commercial management.
• Experience working with subcontractors, procurement processes, and project controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to review and interpret complex contractual documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements from award through to project completion.
• Manage contract correspondence, notices, variations, extensions of time, and claims.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Prepare and assess progress claims, payment schedules, and contract documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records, registers, and commercial reporting.
• Support procurement activities including tender evaluation and subcontract negotiations.
• Assist with forecasting, cost control, and project financial reporting.
• Identify contractual risks and support dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with project, finance, and legal teams to ensure project compliance.
