Job summary

CDC Data Centres is hiring a Contracts Administrator/Quantity Surveyor to oversee end-to-end contract administration for major subcontractors and suppliers across large projects. You will work with CDC Development and Operations teams to align contracting with project goals.

Ideal candidates bring experience in construction contracts, cost control, and stakeholder management, with capability to draft, negotiate, and manage variations across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and data analysis for cost control.
• Experience as Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor on large multi-disciplinary projects.
• End-to-end contract management including variations and departures.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate contract agreements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of construction contracts, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Oversee cost control, ensuring budgets are maintained and financial risks are minimised.
• Procure subcontractors and negotiate terms in line with company protocols.
• Analyse contractor pricing, verify rates and quantity measures.
• Ensure all contract obligations are met, track milestones, payments and reporting.
• Liaise with managers and stakeholders through meetings, emails, and calls on contract matters.
• Administer contract processes, including variations, progress claims, and financial tracking.
• Maintain accurate registers, documentation and templates while supporting contractual correspondence.
