Job summary

CDC Data Centres in Melbourne is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee end-to-end contractual administration of subcontractors and major suppliers, ensuring alignment with client contracts and company policies.

You will support the Development and Operations teams across all project phases, manage cost control, procurement, variations, and progress claims, and liaise with stakeholders to drive efficiency and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Administrator/Quantity Surveyor on large multi-disciplined construction projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence and negotiate.
• End-to-end contract drafting, variations, and progress claims expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of construction contracts and identify risks.
• Oversee cost control to maintain budgets and minimise financial risk.
• Procure subcontractors and negotiate terms.
• Analyze contractor pricing and verify rates and quantities.
• Track milestones, payments, and reporting; maintain contract registers.
• Liaise with managers through meetings, emails, and calls.
• Administer contract variations and progress claims.
