Job summary

McMahon Services is seeking a motivated Contracts Administrator to join the Civil & Infrastructure team in Adelaide. You will support contract administration across head contracts, subcontractor agreements, and commercial reporting for civil projects.

The role collaborates with Internal Mangers, Legal and Finance to manage contractual notices, claims and commercial risks, with a focus on ITC procurement models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction sector
• 3+ years in a Contracts Administrator role
• Experience with head contract procurement models (ITC)
• Ability to prepare contractual notices and correspondence
• Understanding of cost-based progress claims and cost reconciliation

Responsibilities

• Interpret contracts to verify risk allocation and obligations
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and approvals
• Lead commercial progress coordination meetings
• Prepare cost build-ups and variations with supporting records
• Manage extensions of time, variations and delay costs
• Maintain change and claims registers and deadlines
• Support monthly project reporting and commercial reviews
• Reconcile general ledger costs, payment claims and client assessments
• Collaborate with Projects, Legal and Finance teams to manage risks
