Job summary

Service Stream seeks a Contract Manager to lead the Graham Farmer Freeway contract in WA. You will drive end-to-end leadership, commercial management and operational performance for a critical tunnel and freeway asset, coordinating with MRWA and emergency services while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, 24/7 operations, and ongoing improvements across civil, electrical, mechanical and ITS systems as part of a major transport project.

Qualifications

• Experience managing road tunnel, motorway or complex road O&M contracts.
• Strong experience in operations, maintenance and incident response environments.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and 24/7 operational staffing models.
• Commercial management experience across long-term government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for the Graham Farmer Freeway contract.
• Ensure safe, compliant delivery of tunnel operations, maintenance and incident response services.
• Maintain strong relationships with MRWA and emergency service stakeholders.
• Manage operational performance across civil, electrical, mechanical and ITS assets.
• Oversee shutdown planning, emergency response coordination and traffic management interfaces.
• Lead HSE, Quality and Environmental performance in a high-risk operating environment.
• Manage commercial performance including budget, forecasting, variations and cost control.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, particularly during shutdowns and planned works.
• Maintain asset information, AM plans and maintenance systems (e.g. MEX).
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and transition planning.
