Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator for a well-established construction company based in Sydney. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Commercial Manager, supporting contract administration, commercial operations, and project delivery across a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

You will manage contracts, negotiate with clients, prepare EOTs and variations, and provide commercial guidance to Project Managers and State Managers while

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration, QS or Commercial Management in construction.
• Strong negotiation and client-facing communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of contracts, EOTs, variations and payment claims.
• Experience reviewing contracts and identifying commercial risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual and commercial administration of live construction projects.
• Review, negotiate, and administer client contracts and identify commercial risks.
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Prepare and assess EOT claims, variations, and contractual claims.
• Draft and manage contractual correspondence and provide support to PMs and State Managers.
• Process progress payment claims and ensure contractual compliance.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
