Job summary

ICON Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to lead the commercial delivery of a major education project in Strathnairn, ACT. You’ll own procurement, contract administration and cost management across the project lifecycle.

You’ll work with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to drive commercial outcomes, manage variations and ensure robust financial performance while building strong relationships with stakeholders and maintaining high standards of

Qualifications

• Experience delivering commercial construction projects with Tier 1/2 or reputable mid-tier contractor.
• Procurement, subcontractor packages and project financials experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a high-performing team.
• Qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contract administration across the project lifecycle.
• Lead subcontractor procurement and package management.
• Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements.
• Manage variations, progress claims and cost forecasting.
• Drive project budgets, reporting and financial performance.
• Collaborate with project and site teams to achieve commercial outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risk.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Provide commercial guidance throughout project delivery.
