Job summary

Icon Group is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a major residential development project on the Gold Coast. You will manage subcontract administration, procurement, variations, and cost reporting, while mitigating commercial risk alongside the Project Manager and delivery team.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in contract administration within commercial construction, strong contracts knowledge, and a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as Contract Administrator in commercial construction.
  • Experience on projects valued at $50M+.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and cost management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
  • Residential, apartment or social housing project experience highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assess and negotiate variations, claims and extensions of time.

  • Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and company procedures.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team delivering a major residential development project.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the project. From procurement and subcontract administration through to cost management and variations, you will help drive project performance while mitigating commercial risk and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
