Job summary

Webuild is seeking a Downstream Senior Contract Administrator for Parklife Metro JV, based at Badgerys Creek, NSW. You will oversee pre- and post-contract administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts to support a major rail project.

Responsibilities include coordinating contract lettings, handling progress claims and variations, reviewing subcontracts, managing costs and cash flow, and mentoring colleagues on contract administration.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• 3–5 years of professional Contract Administration and Procurement experience in Australian construction.
• Ability to prepare cost forecasts, cash flow analysis and assess financial outcomes on complex projects.
• Ability to assess supplier and subcontractor claims and prepare payment schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and let contracts to subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the construction schedule, including package preparation.
• Progress claim assistance and handling external variations.
• Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts.
• Manage project expenditure, including subcontractor claims.
• Administer RFIs to clients, architects and consultants.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against the scope and approve variations and payments.
• Maintain cost control, forecast revisions, cashflow and financial reporting.
• Support the commercial team and mentor staff participating in training programs.

The Opportunity:

Employed by Webuild , Parklife Metro is seeking a Downstream Senior Contract Administratorto join our team based atBadgerys Creek.

As a Senior Contract Administrator - Downstream, you will be responsible for the pre and post-contract administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in a site-based or construction administration role
• C oordinate and let contracts to subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the construction and resources schedule. Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
• Progress claim assistance and external variations
• Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
• Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
• Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
• Manage and administer the subcontractor’s performance against the scope of works and construction program and control authorisation of variations, extensions of time and payments
• Monitor and maintain cost control, forecast revisions, cashflow and project financial reporting
• Dev elop and expand the knowledge of the commercial team on your project, including taking a lead mentoring role for those participating in the Contracts Administration Training Development Program

Criteria :

• Tertiary Qualified in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant field
• 3-5 years professional Contract Administration and Procurement experience in the Australian construction industry
• A diligent self-starter who is confident to prepare cost forecasts, cash flow analysis, and assess financial outcomes on complex construction projects, as well as assess supplier and subcontractor claims, and prepare payment schedules
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Good communication and analytical skills
