Job summary

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Sunshine Coast project team.

You will lead commercial management across the project, supporting procurement, subcontract administration, claims, variations, contract compliance and commercial reporting. This regional role requires close collaboration with project leadership on civil, mechanical and electrical works, with a site presence of at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience administering head contracts and subcontracts in a Design & Construct environment.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles and claims management.
• Ability to apply project documentation to contract administration and compliance.
• Experience supporting procurement activities and subcontractor claims.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across project teams, subcontractors and clients.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team on a major infrastructure project based on the Sunshine Coast.

This regionally significant infrastructure project is being delivered to support the long-term needs of one of South East Queensland's fastest-growing regions. With a complex multidisciplinary scope spanning civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process works, the project offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of infrastructure that will provide lasting benefits to the community.

Working closely with the project leadership team, you will play a key role in the commercial management of the project, supporting procurement, subcontract administration, claims management, variations, contract compliance and commercial reporting. This is an opportunity to contribute from the early stages of delivery on a complex infrastructure project while helping drive strong commercial outcomes across the project lifecycle.

What You'll Bring To The Team

• Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator on major infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.


• Strong experience administering both head contracts and subcontracts, ideally within a Design & Construct environment delivering complex project outcomes.


• Sound understanding of contract law principles and their practical application to claims, variations, contract administration and dispute resolution.


• Ability to review and apply project documentation to support contract administration, compliance and claims management.


• Demonstrated experience supporting procurement activities, assessing subcontractor and supplier claims, and contributing to strong commercial outcomes.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.


• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain contractual timeframes.


• Current White Card.


• A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a site-based project team, including a minimum of three days per week on the Sunshine Coast project site.
