Job summary

Downer is seeking a Structural Site Engineer to join our Energy & Utilities team in Australia, reporting to the Project Manager and providing technical guidance to support delivery of construction projects for Logan Council.

You will work with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors to help deliver safe, practical and value-for-money outcomes for our clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of project engineering experience within the water industry.
• Experience managing subcontractors and supporting quality outcomes in project delivery.
• Demonstrated budgeting and financial reporting capability.
• Clear communication, computer skills and time management ability.
• Collaborative relationship-builder with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to Zero Harm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers with technical advice, project performance reporting and practical solutions.
• Attend planning visits and concept reviews, and participate in POAR processes for value-for-money delivery.
