Job summary

CPB Contractors, a CIMIC Group company, is seeking a SHEQ leader to support Western Australia project delivery, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety and wellbeing requirements.

As HSE Manager, you will drive continuous improvement by assessing operations, initiating performance improvements, and sharing best practices with the project team. Tertiary OH&S qualifications and proven leadership in construction HSE are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Recent experience in a HSE Manager position within the construction industry.
• Proven experience leading a team of HSE personnel.
• Ability to implement and oversee project and subcontractor HSE plans.
• Knowledge of OHS&E principles and regulations, Industrial Relations, and Workers Compensation Legislation.
• Ability to accurately record activities and ensure business processes are adhered to.
• Absolute commitment to safety in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of projects across Western Australia with a focus on safety culture and wellbeing.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture by assessing operations and initiating performance improvements.
• Share best practices and lessons learned with the project team.
• Collaborate with the wider Project Team to ensure compliance with health, safety and wellbeing requirements.
