Job summary

Lendlease is seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex design and construction projects from concept through to completion in Sydney. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, enforce safety and sustainability standards, engage stakeholders, and align outcomes with client expectations and business goals.

Reporting to the Head of Design & Project Management, you will drive project delivery across all phases while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in project management within construction or design.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex design and construction programs.
• Deep understanding of EHS, sustainability, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across all phases: design, construction, and finalisation.
• Develop and manage the Design Management Plan and design objectives.
• Coordinate consultant engagement, scope definition, and fee administration.
• Oversee design programs, production schedules, and align with construction timelines.
• Drive EHS compliance, Safety in Design, and sustainability targets.
• Manage risk assessments, technical reviews, and quality assurance processes.
• Lead procurement strategy and support bid conversion and contract finalisation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee financial planning including budgets, cost forecasting, and variation approvals.
• Provide leadership to project teams and promote collaboration.
